Tom Vafiadis

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Tom Vafiadis. I consider myself not only a taxicab driver but also a tour guide. I’ve lived on the Amelia Island for the past 22 years; this allows me to make good recommendations for restaurants and things to do while you are visiting here.

Customer service is everything in the transportation business. Going the extra mile is important. For example, if you need to stop at a drugstore or grocery store for a few items, there will be no extra charge. If you need a car seat or booster for a small child, I will be happy to supply one for a nominal charge. If I am picking you up at the airport and your flight is delayed, there will be no extra charge for the additional wait time. I drive a Luxury late-model Chrysler Town and Country that has all the bells and whistles and a late-model SUV, Chevy Suburban. My driving is focused on the road which explains no accidents or tickets in over 35 years of driving. Not a bad accomplishment when you consider I have been driving commercially for over 10 years, more than 6000 miles per month

Over half of my business is through the Ritz Carlton and the Omni resort which are both located on Amelia Island. I am a preferred vendor and can provide many references. My company is based on Amelia Island and I provide airport transportation to and from Jacksonville airport. I also provide round-trip transportation to the many restaurants located on Amelia Island. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call me anytime, day or night. Look forward to hearing from you.
